Xray have announced the date and details for their Challenge Grand Final that will be he held on the weekend of the 10th of May at the outdoor track of the Hudy Racing Arena. Held in several classes including Touring Car Modified and 17.5T Stock, Formula, 1/8th and 1/10th Nitro On-Road the race is open for anybody with more information being available here.
The 2014/15 Mibosport Cup attracted a total of 400 racers with 209 drivers in the electric on-road and 191 drivers in the electric off-road classes. Drivers from seven different countries including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Great Britain and Estonia raced for the title honours with round 4 seeing the largest number of entries with a total of 198 drivers of which 108 attended in the off-road classes. A total of 107 driver attended in the on-road classes at round 3 and from round 4 on the off-road category always attracted more drivers than the on-road classes. In round 5 2WD Buggy saw the largest number of competitors this season with a total of 59 drivers while the Touring Car Modified class was the most balanced in terms of participation.

The 2015 Czech Electric On-Road Nationals were hosted by the RC Team Rychvald club, attracting 80 drivers from all over the country to race in a high-class indoor facility. In the premier class of Touring Car Modified Marek Cerny set the early pace, but Kuba Simurda was pretty close. The qualifying then saw Kuba taking the TQ from Jirka Vysin and Marek Cerny and this order would not change after the finals handing, Kuba Simurda the title from runner-up Jiri Vysin and Marek Cerny.

The opening round of the French Electric On-Road Nationals was held at the Lentilly club close to Lyon. In the Touring Car Modified class Alexandre Laurent grabbed the pole position for the finals by winning two out of the five qualifying rounds. In time for the finals rain began to fall, mixing things up a bit. The opening A-main was won by Loic Jasmin (Yokomo) from TQ Alexandre while in a half dry, half wet A2 Cyril N’Diaye (Yokomo) came out successful in front of the TQ holder. In the 3rd and decisive main the track was all dry and Alexandre Laurent came in 1st from Loic Jasmin in 2nd. Overall Alexandre took the day’s win from Loic and Cyril.

New from Pro-Tek R/C come the all-new 2015 Supreme Power 100C LiPo battery packs. They are lighter, safer and more powerful thanks to an improved chemical composition of the cells. Exotek introduce a servo mount set for F104 series cars using Exotek’s IFS front suspension set. It allows for the proper mounting of low-profile servos and front arm droop function when using the IFS kit in F104 cars. Clamp in servo mounting provides easy yet extra secure and robust servo mounting and it also allows forward or back positioning of the servo. The mount is only usable in non-200mm cars and comes including mounting hardware.
