Bosmann wins Dutch Nomac class Rd5

We reported on the NK class at last weekend’s 5th Dutch 1/8th scale National round in Gouda, but also running on the same day was the Nomac class. TQ was set by the young local driver Jeffrey Rietveld followed by Tim Bosmann, Peter van Marion and on 4th spot Stefan Koenders. Following the semi finals that were won by Roelof Tooms and Sander Tersteeg, the final got underway and immediately it was Jefrey that took the lead with Tim Bosman on his tail. Peter v Marion and Stefan Koenders were battling it out for the 3rd spot, but Stefan made a mistake and went over the fence where he lost a lot of time, while Peter v. Marion also hit trouble later on. This all allowed last placed qualifier Roelof Tooms in to 3rd spot, but a collision right near the end allowed Sander Tersteeg up into 3rd, behind eventual winner Tim Bosmann, with Jeffrey Rietveld taking 2nd.

LRP Exhaust, Clutch shoes & Inserts

More new items from LRP, this time for use with 1/8th scale buggies and truggies. First up is this new 3-chamber tuned pipe, which has been tested and developed in close cooperation with the LRP factory team. Answer-RC 3 shoe High Bite Clutch set

After many months of testing Answer-RC are confident that no other clutch shoes can offer the same high level of bite and low wear ratio as their high bite low wear clutch set. The shoe is lightweight thus reducing rotating mass helping the engine spool quicker and reducing drive train mass. The shoes each have a built in stand off washer to lift the shoe from the flywheel and this reduces drag on the flywheel allowing you to tune the clutch perfectly with the 3 included spring sets.

Losi 2008 Worlds Team merchandising

Losi have announced the release of their World’s team t-shirt and hat. Available only in black, the hat comes in 2 different sizes small-medium and large to x-large, and features the Losi logo together with the text ‘2008 World’s team’ embroidered on the front. Similar to the hat, the cotton t-shirt too features the same logo, which has been screen printed on the chest and is available in the usual range of sizes.

Hudy Universal Tire Balancing Station

Hudy have released this compact Universal Tire Balancing Station for 1/10, 1/8, 1/6 and 1/5 wheels allowing you to quickly and easily balance car tires by identifying the heaviest part of the wheel so that proper balancing aids can be applied. This also helps to identify improperly glued rubber tires or differences in inserts.
